Carlisle’s rock insurgents Löser have announced their thunderous arrival on the national stage with their debut EP Born Lösers. The record is a hard-hitting six-track salvo that fuses gritty original compositions with exhilarating takes on classic covers, all delivered with a no-nonsense rock ’n’ roll vigor. Channeling the spirit of British heavy rock and the unyielding legacy of Motörhead, Löser’s new music signals a band forging their own path.
Fronted by transatlantic rocker Daz Evilhate — whose formative years in Los Angeles’ music scene provided a first-hand education in stagecraft, moving gear for icons like Motörhead and Prince — Löser have spent the past three years building a cult following in the North. Alongside Daz, bandmates Sam “Thorburn” Spedding, Sam “Fretters” Fretwell, and Ben “Beinne” Riley infuse fresh energy and Cumbrian steel into every riff and chorus.
The EP’s title track, “Born Lösers”, sets the pace: a fist-raising anthem designed for crowded halls and late-night drives.
